Keep in mind that the 2550x3450 resolution downloadable images are actually scaled down from larger images for the sake of cheap antialiasing. So you're looking at running 33 count raytracing shadows on an image that's over 6000x8000 pixels originally. Plus this is a surf box, which requires that the accuracy calculations have to be much more precise than any of the other formulas I use in order to avoid large amounts of static and other rendering errors so every step takes about ten times as long to begin with.

Good thing I'm patient.
